Sorry, I've been missing from this site for quite a while but have a good excuse.....was organizing my daughters wedding in devon.....so rather preoccupied to say the least.

However I seem to remember a thread talking about lone women wildcampers meeting up sometime.....did it go ahead ?
Is there any interest for something this spring/summer ?

I certainly would be interested.....it could be fun, exchanging ideas/good locations/ etc

Anyone interested ?

Magbrin's place is first-rate with lots of space, easy access etc but Inverness is a very long drive for those of us in England!

I am setting off for the UK soon in the van so might be missing for a while but when I get back to somerset I will log on and join properly
I agree inverness, though lovely, would be too far for me, most other places will probably be OK at some stage as this year I will be heading for wales, bath, newcastle and derbyshire at various times.....I guess this will be a nightmare to organize but fun if we can.
And Liz......of course it would be ok with your daughter......shes female isnt she LOL

So, any more ideas at the moment about places to meet ?
We can leave all the nitty gritty info until we get something more organized, so locations at the mo are fine just no definate details of dates etc......does that sound OK ?

How about if we say for now Derbyshire as its fairly central ?
Next.....which month best ?
Then .....how many interested ?
Then we can decide later on a venue......I am sure there will be quite a few possibilities.
Can we leave it that people interested put their names and preferences on a list and when I get back to the UK we can figure out the best way to contact each other ?
Anyone got any further ideas or input ?

If you are going to Inverness Gwen, google Brin Herb nursery and speak to Margaret, she will give you free accommodation. I cannot pm you as you are not a full member. If you become a full member, you will save the money 10 times over if you want to wildcamp in Scotland with the POI's.
