Help with Sat Nav and LPG

I am a complete Dum-Dum when it comes to computers and such things including satellite receivers.
I have a Tom tom and find that the only POI’s that I have ever used are petrol stations and your Wildcamping which by some miracle I managed to download and install.
What I would like now is to remove all the “rubbish” like hospitals, bus stations, hotels etc and have on there instead LPG stations in UK, France and Spain. Later on perhaps all Europe.
Can anybody advise me?

Just go into the settings menu and under Map, Points of Interest (POI types), and turn them off so they won't show on the screen.
 
On my Tom Tom, I can add points of interest of my choice, !st I tap change preferences on the opening screen,then the arrow which takes me to manage POIs, , up comes a screen with 6 options ,one of which is ADD POI CATORGARY, I tap this and a screen comes up to name anything I want, lets say LPG, which I type in using the displayed keyboard,I OK this and a screen comes up asking me if I want a Marker for LPG I OK a Marker and then LPG is now a POI. I can then add individual lpg places into this main heading as and when I want.
I have only ever had Tom Tom so I don't know how other makes work, but much the same I would Guess.
