Hello all can you help? Myself and my husband and my 2 little dogs are setting of from Weston super mare on the 28th of December for a week of our quality time. We want either beautiful countryside, woodlands of beachside and need some ideas for a route from Weston ?? Michelle

There are two nice spots at Worle where I was earlier this week.
There are loads of places in Devon and Cornwall too many to list here.
Why not become a full member and then download the POI's you will be astounded at the number availabble, and the cost of joining her would be covered by your first nights free camp.
Oh by the way. Welcome. Hope we meet up some time. I am always that way. usualy Exmouth and Woodbury way.

Hi Michelle

I look after the POI Downloads on behalf of the site.

'POI' stands for Point of Interest, and it's a term widely used in connection with sat nav devices.

The POI Downloads on this site cover England, Scotland and Wales and currently provide locations for well over 3,000 wild camping and pub stopover places, and the number's growing all the time.

The download (which is for full members only) includes files to browse online with Google Earth, or to install on a desktop or laptop computer for use with Microsoft Autoroute, or to install on most major makes of sat nav.

If you use it on a sat nav, you can navigate to a wild camping spot of your choice.

If you click on the Site Navigation / POI Downloads link on the home page you can read more, and learn how you download the files. There is a POI File Help & Support forum with a lot more information.

Have fun!

Regards

Chris
