Please can someone explain to me that when l put in Wildcamping CR corcordinate bearings into my TomTom they are never recognised.

My guess is that you're putting them in in the wrong format
They could be degrees and decimal degrees or degrees minutes and seconds.
53.5000 north is the same as 53 30 00 Use one instead of the other and you get the wrong location.

Look in your satnav menu to get the different formats and choose the correct one.

He's right! Up to now we've used this as a bedside lamp table since Winston our lodger moved out and left it behind. I've just tried it to no avail... What a waste of time and space bringing it on our first trip away since lockdown, mind you, we were going to go to Bournemouth so perhaps it's just as well we went round in a circle and ended up back home...

If you are using the Online Map the latitude and longitude are given in decimal degrees.

This is in the form nn.nnnnnn. Note that if the longitude is to the west of the Greenwich meridian you need to add a minus sign.

You will need to configure your TomTom to accept coordinates in this format.

2 of my common mistakes are as above the minus sign an using a coma in place of a full stop
