Help needed my tomtom has stopped working

Hello I wonder if anyone can give me some advice? My satnav has stopped working and I am not very good with gadgets.

Does anyone know where I can find out if it has had it or can be repaired? Thanks.
 
If you have no joy with it, a mate of mine works for TomTom. PM me and I'll send you his number.
 
Look up fairytooth and PM him, He is a full member and he fixed mine up for me great
 
Does it not have a reset button somewhere? Most do and it takes it back to factory settings but remember to take out the SD card first.

Reset button is usually a pin hole and you stick in a paper clip.
 
Thanks for your help, I think it may be completely knackered. I have now found a post by fairy tooth (thanks for the info donkey too) and will see if he can help out.

fairytooth is very helpful, he is repairing my tom tom now and he knows what he's doing so contact him and he will advise you whats the best thing to do.

hi, forget the tomtom. buy amap .much easier. have travelled all over europe africa and asia never had a sat nav.
did have a sadnav . my ex partner . still trying to get her to hold the map the right way up. she called me twatnav. never mind .have fun .cheers alan

Hi,My tomtom has lost its voice all other functions are o,k do you think its repairable,to fairytooth,from dave.
