Help, need place to wild camp in SE

Hello all,



I’m after some advice on places to wild camp in the south east area, we are four old school friends in our 40’s, we are in the Kent and Essex areas, we were planning a trip to one of our old campsites on Dartmoor but wont have the time with all the travelling and meeting up so we are looking closer to home.



It will only be for a couple of nights, we were thinking of Thetford forest, or maybe somewhere along the coast. Unfortunately all of the secluded coves and woodland that I know are within 10 minutes of where I live.



Any places or ‘secret locations’ would be greatly received.
