Hello all,

I don't see an 'Introduce yourself' forum, so I guess this is it...

Recently purchased a Chausson Flash09 on Mk7 Ford 140bhp 2.4DCI
We have 3 kids, 10, 7 and 3, so we wanted the space.
Based in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland

Looking forward to seeing what goes on here, I will contribute if I feel it is of use. ;)

Hi there,
What is Geocaching? Do tell!
We're coming up your way from Cornwall. We love Ennis, especially the music, hence coming to Clare. We went to Feakle festival last year and it was great fun.
Any ideas for good spots for wildcamping?
If you're ever down our way let us know if we can be of any help.
cheers
Norma

It's a game using gps to find caches. It's irritatingly addictive. I've been doing it for a while and it's taken me to places I would never have visited. It's a good thing.

There's a website here.

Thanks for the welcomes/offers etc., appreciated.

As Vipper says, Geocaching is a good thing.
Seeing as the question is being asked, I'll start a thread on it somewhere with a quick little intro.

Funny this, but I was into bikes and bike rallys for a good few years, bumped into a Camper Rally in Eglinton Country park near Irvine/Troon in Scotland with a Biker buddy. We had a chuckle, same thing we did except campers, now I have one!

Oops, I just noticed the 'Introductions' part of the forum!

Norma, Its about an hour away from Feakle, but we stopped for the night at Terryglass Quay - N53 3.570 W8 12.430
There was another camper there on the night as well, blinds drawn for the night, and there was no hassle.
Very nice place on the shores of Lough Derg, Tidy towns winner and good food etc.
