I'm Peter alias Yogi VW - just got a VWT4 conversion after years of caravanning now children have flown the nest.

Looking forward to to some wild camping in the Outer hebrides - any hints?

yep... always use either a bridge or a ferry ... don't think yer conversion floats well

Hi Yogi & welcome.
We did the Outer Hebrides with an Island Hopper ticket Sept. 09. What a fantastic time we had..and the weather was gorgeous..the wee beasties(midges) have mostly gone by then as well.
As we got off each ferry, we asked where we could park up, and was told with a shrug of the shoulder..'where ever takes your fancy' We had some marvelous stop-overs, and found all the islanders very helpful..Good luck, and enjoy!!
