Hi all.
Barry (59) and Paul(34) here in Norwich. We recently joined the site and are slowly familiarising ourselves with it. Seems to be populated by many friendly folk with lots of useful information to share.
We've been having lots of fun travelling with our elderly Hymer B435 for the last couple of years, around the UK, France and Holland mostly. After many years of canvas camping it's such a joy to take our home with us, enjoying the comfort of a proper bed, kitchen, heat and hot water.
Adding a solar panel and big batteries was probably our best move on aquiring the Hymer as we are now truly independent of everything except water supplies.
Having had a few dramas - breakdowns and flat battery with the previous old Renault trafic we had a much better idea of what we really needed and the Hymer fits the bill perfectly. Not too large for effortless driving but with plenty of room and all the facilities we need.
