Hello from Kent!

Hi to everyone, I found this site after searching for info on wild camping spots in Cornwall. I am part of a small VW club here on the North Kent coast and a few of us are having a two week touring holiday in The West Country in our vintage campers next month! I have a 1972 VW and a friend will be driving his 60's split screen van and, although we will be using a few sites, we very much like the idea of some secluded coastal spots if we can find them!

We are fortunate to have access to an acre of woodland near Ashford, Kent where we regulary wild camp and have spent some awesome weekends.....

Anyway, you guys seem to have built a pretty wonderful site here and I thank you all for allowing me to participate! I will be paying to be a full member shortly so that we may take advantage of the downloadable POI's and I hope that I meet some of you very soon!

Hi Mike,

I've just joined for exactly the same reasons as you. We also have a 1972 T2 VW camper and will be touring around Cornwall for 3 weeks on our Honeymoon soon! I can't wait.
We go to Cornwall every year to normally the same spot which we love but we decided to do it all a bit differently this year by touring so will be signing up for the full membership.

We go to Cornwall every year to normally the same spot which we love but we decided to do it all a bit differently this year by touring so will be signing up for the full membership.

We've been to Cornwall a few times in the bus before but with our 4 kids. They are all teenagers now and camping in the old dub doesn't seem attractive to them anymore!! So, my wife and I decided that road trip was needed and we do love the West Country - I just hope the weather is nice!!
