I think I can remember years and years and I will add another for good luck years ago when we had some bad weather (eg snow) in the winter we then use to have summers which became known as a heat wave in the past year or 2


maybe this is what is going to happen in 2010 a proper heat wave that lasts for weekssssssss not a day

heat so intense you can't go out in it..... no water

can you remember the last 1 we had... coolest place in europe was ireland.. i mear 25 deg... we went
UK was 30+ france and spain were 40+

Probably all the people moaning about the snow will complain when we do have a heat wave along with the inevitable hose pipe ban. At least we can move somewhere cooler in the van if it does get tooo hot

Remember one year we were in Germany & it was 40C + at times, the Germans were complaining saying it was like Africa, they then went into their nice air conditioned motohome. At the time we had a homebuilt Renault Trafic, it was so hot we slept with all the doors open.

I wouldnt cancel any plans for foreign holidays in the sun if i were you,Polly dont listen to the idiots at the met office,a good summer seems almost a too distant memory
