Healthcare only insurance

We are using our 3 month pass to go to the EU. We have GHIC card but want healthcare insurance as well. We don’t need travel/cancellation insurance because we book as we go along & breakdown cover/personal insurance is included in our regular insurance.
Is there a way of just getting the medical cover (E.g. if we are unable to drive back or need repatriation) ?

LV offer[ed] a Health Policy [it is/was the policy used by Nationwide!] that was very competitive. £191 for Annual Cover in November 2021 [I declared a Heart Attack in 2020 and Elaine High Blood Pressure]. Axa also offer a European Policy [because they are obliged to, operating in EU where Freedom of Movement still exists without time limits, so they have to provide matching Health Cover!]. The cheaper policy [where the healthy party is pretty much left to their own devices re accommodation costs and repatriation etc] is about £273 IIRC, whilst the dearer Policy that covers both the ill and the healthy parties for the consequential costs of accommodation, repatriation for both parties, and increased medical cover of €50,000 instead of €30,000 was about £338 IIRC
