Woke up last Sunday feeling fine, walked to the loo then collapsed, went into shock, tongue swollen to 3 times the size, wife called ambulance 2 paramedics arrived then 3 more not sure what happened but wife said I had 4 drip bags
lost count of the injections I had and she is fairly sure my heart stopped.
Taken to intensive care for 24 hours had loads of tests etc.Apparently I had a reaction to Voltrol (a pain killer I have taken many times without probs)
The paramedics got to me just in time.
So I was thinking if I was out wild camping how would I get the ambulance to me. If I dont have a address.
When you wild camp take a note of the LAT/LON from your G.P.S and write it down. You never know.

I don't know about others, but on the Tomtom, if you press the Help button on the menu, one of the options is "Where am I?" which gives you a brief verbal description of your location, for example "Between junctions X and Y on The A-whatever" or if you're at a specific landmark it knows about it will put that in. It's obviously not as precise as the actual coordinates but might also be useful.

My tomtom has that function, but it is an update that needs downloading.
