Here,s a heads up for any of you coming or are in Spain my step son has told me that new sign,s are going to be put up on some roads near to the beach just for the summer it,s a motorhome with a bar through it dont go down it even if you have what looks like a normal van if it has a bed in it or any thing that looks like you sleep in there will be a 150 euro fine not all roads just were the locals have complained to the police:have fun::wave:

Yes you would but thats Spain for you. I go to Portugal every year on my way in 3 weeks time never go near the beach always inland to the lakes.:boat::cheers:

haven't been to the hippy graveyard at santa clara lake for a while.young folk would come there having heard it was ok,discover madronha [cheap strong spirit], and sort of end up staying there.the alentejo seems to turn some europeans into hairy drunken hillbillies. i like it though

Last year we meet up with some German lads they were taking of going there how they made it in the motor,s they had all the way to Portugal i dont be leave they stayed with us for 3 days while my friend done some work on there van nice bunch of lads.
