Off here friday, and route up with camper is quite narrow in places. Which route up/down have other members found the easiest?

We went in from Hay on Wye. It's narrow but ok with an Autosleeper Executive (20'). Biggest worry is meeting another motorhome!

From Craswell there is a very strong bend and very narrow lanes.

The best route is probably from Hay-on-Wye but avoiding turning right prematurely on the first narrow track or you're in for a long reverse when you inevitably meet the farmer with a tractor and trailer and very little patience or sense of humour.

The views from Hay Bluff are stunning followed by a scenic drive along the Gospel Pass to Capel y Ffin and Llanthony.

Enjoy!

thanks folks, wondered about that right turn, was hoping it was the better route. Done the trip in the car many a time and only once in motorhome but went in quite late so we could see lights coming.

You can also park for a night in the large car park in Hay.
