There is no longer the opportunity to stay at the far end (west) of hastings sea front. No overnight signs. Still a good place to park for the day as it's free.
There is a small road further on where you might find a place to stay the night.

You used to be able to stop in the beach car park in old town, long gone I looked at camp sites a couple of years ago and both were very expensive.
