Has anyone done Prague for New Year?

We always head off on Boxing Day for about 10-12 days .... usually around the UK, but we did Andorra last year and were a bit disappointed (yes, I know it's a skiing place!!!!!) that there was not much to do/look at and it seemed to be about tax free shopping. There was no celebration on New Year's Eve either, everywhere to eat was booked up and the town was effectively empty.

We are trying to decide where to try this year .... perhaps Prague ..... northern/southern Germany .... and wondered if anyone has done a winter trip they particularly enjoyed and would recommend?

If wildcamping we'd have to travel around a bit to charge batteries, but if camp sites are cheap then happy to try them.

Thank you

We did Prague at Christmas which was great, lots of atmosphere and it looked quite magical with the lights and Christmas market. We stayed in an apartment right in the centre so can't offer advice on Motorhoming there, others will be along shortly who have.

Prague & Germany

Prague
No proper wild camping but this is a short bus ride to the centre
30th 31st July 1st Aug - Prague GPS 50.071111° 14.357222°
Kotlarka small gravel area in the courtyard of a hotel & restaurant.
Convenient tram to City Centre. Recommended but need to check (no Pun) if they are open and how long you can stay
Google Maps

Germany loads of stellplatz many with Pay as you go EHU and near to town centres

So something like
3 days to get there
3 days there
3 days to get home
Or longer if available
