Hi westbay, we go from Harwich but only live 1 hour away so we travel straight there, but I think if you got there the night before they may let you park on site. I would give them a ring and find out.
Are you going with Stena, thats who we use, I would advise you to book the Club Class seats, they are well worth the money if your on the morning crossing, the only seating is in the cafe, so its the best thing to do, you get 3 hours free Wi fi but take a 2 pin adaptor with you, relax in your club class seat and enjoy your free tea and coffee / buscuits and watch tv.
Oh and cold drinks.
Its a bit late now but did you book with Tesco points, thats the way we do it.
If your on the night crossing. Take no notice and sleep well in your cabin.
Have a good trip, if your going up through Denmark be sure to visit Ribe and Tonger, very nice and a shame to go by them.
