Hard standing plea nr Maddison falkirk

Hi all, Janet and I are meeting relatives for a fiftieth birthday celebration on Tuesday at a cottage near loan Falkirk, just wondering on the off chance if anyone has a bit of hard standing close by, I will ride around the area this weekend to see what I can find thanks Andy

Hi Gordon, everybody staying in the cottage except me and the dog and was hoping to be a bit closer than the kelpies,
Do you know if you can get into the picnic site off the A801 near the union canal between jct 4 at polmont and the bp garage at loan

That car park is used for dogging, so you and the dog might be ok, what about parking at the shops in maddison, plenty room but don't know if allowed

Looking on Google Maps I have spotted two car parks.

One is by the Community Centre and the other between the Police station and former fire service headquarters. The latter car park is enormous.

I'd be inclined to nip into the Police station and ask if it's OK to park there.
