Lou Lou caught a bird yesterday, was dead before I knew what was happening

we were all in the van for the shade and we had a nice breeze going through when a finch or sparrow flew through bathroom skylight (didn’t realise at the time). Both dogs suddenly in bathroom so I moved them out to look but couldn’t see anything. Few minutes later Lou trots out with a few tail feathers poking out her mouth. She was pleased as punch til she got a telling off then went quiet for rest of afternoon. Nature will out as they say, been careful to leash her when we go by the chickens and cats, thankfully the ferret has gone cos I struggle to hold on when she sees that lol
