Mans best friend

Soooo sorry to hear your news, they are part of the family. Our pooch is 17 and on his last legs so I can fully understand your grief. Make it a good trip:(

So sorry I know how you feel we lost our 5yr old corgie a year ago with the same thing .Our vet said she was very young to have it .she had an op and had a 5lb tumour removed she then had a new lease of life for 3 months then bang down she went .It is so upsetting we were heartbroken we still have her sister but miss the other one as she was a naughty little dog but so lovable. So take care and enjoy her last few weeks give her plenty tlc as im sure you will.

thanks his is in his jaw and just under his eye so is inopperable so nothing we can do we are going to take him away until the weekend then i have to do the worst thing i have to do to save him from realy suffering god i feel a **** but i think i am doing the correct thing thanks

Oh dear I feel for you we had to as well in the end we couldnt bear her to suffer .She was trying to play my daughter was here with her dog and they used to all play pulling the tuggy but she couldnt do it and they laid it down so she struggled over and lay on it .strange none of the other two would take it from her they just lay down and watched her.she was crying so we knew what we had to do.It was terrible we both went with her the vet was lovely so understanding .We were shattered.some people prob think it silly as its a dog but it was part of our family we had her from birth .Good luck we will think of you.sometime we have to be cruel to be kind.I said to Alan we can at least do this for her if it was a person they would have to suffer.

Val

so sorry to hear about your pal
I don't know what I did before I got my boys and to lose one would be hell so our thoughts are with you.
enjoy his time and remember all the good things that he brought you
then go out and rescue another and give that one a good home with friends that will love him/her.
they will never replace the friend you lose but will make it easier to bear

it's the kindest thing to do hard though it may be for you, give him his dignity back poor fella

Hi Mandrake, really sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I lost my Black Lab a few years back, so i know how devastating i can be. It took me ages to get used to him not being around. Dogs become a huge part of the family, at least he isn't suffering any more.
Best regards Jeff.
