Had a great weekend but........................

We have just got back from an excellent long weekend at CheddarBridge. Fab site, very friendly fellow campers, very close to the gorge. Now my hubby isn't speaking to me.....not my fault........honest, he let me back onto the drive for the first time, when he backs on, I take the dog out, put him indoors and direct him. Terry, got his bike off, left the dog in, who is barking his head off, I back on perfectly, a couple of inches away from the porch roof, dog is still going nuts, I tell him to be quiet, put the handbreak on..............forgot to take it out of gear.........the curtains were twitching in our close at the sound the motor home made hitting the gutter! Had to put mastic in the 2 inch split at the top for now, but have ordered a patch meant for rv roofs off of ebay..........so so hope that works or getting a portable satellite kit will once again be on the back burner! Still, gives us more time to research which satellite system would be the best!

Ouch!!

That's the reason I've wimped out and don't drive our beasty. Reckon if i don't get behind the wheel, any damage to the van is nothing to do with me.
Anyway your other half should just be glad that you weren't hurt. If it had been the other way round you'd have been more understanding I'm sure.

I do love driving her, but not reversing onto a short drive with a crazy dog! Will leave the dog in next time for Ter and see how he goes!!
