I wonder what this will mean for the motorhome fraternity and the new bill that the government was hoping to pass, making it a criminal offence to trespass.

How significant is this for us, well probably not.
Yes it’s a clear victory for the travellers, but we are not travellers.
I feel that the new legislation is targeted at them and not us.
What this does highlight is the laws both current and proposed are poorly worded, and open to legal debate.
Our respective parliaments have to get to grips with these issues, and they have to redefine how they approach us, and it’s imperative that we are not regarded the same as people who’s lives are defined by travelling. Their needs are different from ours, and our governments need to both acknowledge this, and define clearly what is required for both parties on a separate basis.

This is huge, though I am unable t read it .
At a guess the act was to stop parking on common land ....
Wild camping I think it's called.
The act was to stop parking and give police the power to move you..at present time they need a court order which takes 28 days....
I did add a vote to stop this
If I guessed wrong I am sorry...

That article was just about the use of 'blanket bans'. The new Bill that is proposed makes the invasion of land a criminal offence instead of a civil matter. A different thing entirely.
