Saw on the 18:00pm local news tonight that gypsies have invaded Aldeburgh!!!

Yippee!!!! Now they really have got something to worry about!!! Makes a couple of motorhomes overnighting on the sea wall seem a little trivial now doesn't it!!!!

ha ha ha !!!! :D

After seeing what a mess gypsies (or more usually Irish tinkers, in Europe the are eastern europeans) make I wouldn't wish them on anybody  They give us all a bad name & to many non motorhome/caravan owners we are all the same.

Go into town with the street cleaners in the early hours of Sunday morning.:eek:

Agree with you TrottersIndependentTrader. I have Romany blood racing through the vital areas and an obsession with picking up litter, using local council waste disposal sites for unwanted items and dispose of human waste down a soil pipe!!??

I appreciate we are not all the same - who is?

on radio suffolk today there was someone who phoned in and was talking about the sea wall all day long......apparently the council now have changed there mind on the official reason why the sign on the wall(which you can ignore but expect a knock on the door by local police) the council now say its because the motorhomes create a eyesaw to the public who walk along the beach by the wall....Well the emial i have got says diffrent..My email says its due to users empty there toilets and sinks on the wall nothing to do with weight of vehicles....

Has anyone got a link to this story? I've had a look at EADT but cannot find anything

OK so you believe it's ok for one type of person to 'wild camp' but not another type of person?

What is the difference for example between a full timer who wild camps and a the traveling community?

I appreciate that travellers tend to park up for longer but as for mess etc then I've seen plenty of others that leave mess where ever they go.
numbers shear numbers these are the scum of ireland who come to europe every summer to rob and thieve in large groups to intimerdate, our home grown gipsys only congrigate for fairs ,funerals ,weddings ect have there own places or on sites most of the year

Just for all the Gorgios amongst us. The Gypsies may well be on a Pilgramage to Walsingham. They may well be going there or returning from the Feast of the Assumption - at least, that's what my Roma friends tell me

Bet the Good Burghers of Southwold are mightly hacked off though :D

The National Pilgrimage

lucky heather for the lady sir  quick lads get his whippets what about the one with the flat face dad no leave her :D

Must be awfull to have caravans parked within a mile of all those second homes.
Still,I expect the gypsies will put up with it for a while longer.

The difference as I see it is I could park next to a wild camper without getting robbed if I left my van for more than 30 seconds.

As for the mess I dont have to pay for skips and JCB,s to clean up after the wild campers
