Gwynedd survey.

The survey is just for Gwynedd residents. Hopefully, there are motorhomers who will complete it. At least they are considering all the options.

I wonder, is such a survey being carried out in relation to the number of cars visiting Gwynedd. Also their neighbours to the south in Pembrokeshire are not helping matters.

But the ability to comment on the newspaper pages is available to anyone willing to register with them.
AND whatever we write is likely to get a wider audience than the responses to the survey.

IF we don't do everything that we can to promote our hobby, we can't complain when we find restrictions being placed upon us.

I understand that CAMPRA have already been in discussion with Gwynedd and perhaps they can take some credit for having the idea of aires included in the survey. Trouble is, will your average Gwynedd citizen have any concept of the meaning of an aire?

There is an email address and phone number on the survey page so we could contribute that way.

I filled it in with a Powys address.
They look to be wanting to install aires, so that can't be a bad thing.

Another article from the daily post. This one was linked to the Campra website.

From the article:- "
Other than campsites, official parking provision for Britain’s 357,000 motorhomes is thin on the ground in Wales.

Neither are laybys or countryside areas an option: overnight parking in these places is banned in Britain and, in Wales, there’s little tolerance for the practice, especially in Snowdonia National Park."

Oh dear!
