Is it a view of Llandudno pier from the Great Orme?

A lovely place, especially on the tops above the old cemetery and away from the crowds!

it's not "sunny stoke" ;) You escaped the roadworks then :scared:

correct scampa well done, yes your right it is ive never been uo thier before i walked up from the pier end past the cemetary and up to the visitiors centre which was shut but had a flask so no probs even on a gloomy rainy day i thought it was a good afternnon out, one thing i coulnt figure out wa om the pier end theier was a toll with a guy stoping car i assume to pay yet when i walked down the other side closer to the town along the tram lines thier was no toll ootion yet it was a two way road i thought how strange. have i missed sumthing ?

lol yes lotty i did just avout the que for the roadworks are worse than for the fish n chip shops in stoke esp the good ones lol

I haven't been there for a few years, but I think the first part of the road (driving anti-clockwise around the Orme) used to be one-way only, and the last part around the other side changed to two-way traffic.

I've slept in a small car park on the cliff edge past the lighthouse (not sure if the public can access it nowadays?), and also on the top of the Orme. The top was a great area to explore. I think there's a Roman well or something up there, plus that lovely little church and cemetery overlooking the bay. I also remember the beaches there were good for Bass fishing!
