Hi Everyone
It's a dull day and I've spent more time than usual looking at all the various posts on this forum...
.. and some of the things that I'm talking about are in older postings.
But I have to say that I find it depressing how some people use their time to say negative things.
Some of this may be unintentional.
The problem is often that when something may be written in a light-hearted and "tongue-in-cheek" way
.... it doesn't always appear that way to a person who is reading it.
For that reason , I think people should make more use of "emoticons" or "smileys "
or even just by typing "lol" or " ha ha ha ! ".... or whatever.
It's an easy way to show the mood of the writer , at the time ,and goes a very long way to avoiding
misunderstandings.
I really like this forum and I would like it to be a place where people can help each other out,
share experiences that may be useful to other members ..... or at the very least ....
.... to just be entertaining.
I hope that people who are angry at other members , for whatever reason , could simply find
another place to express their feelings.

I'd read some quite aggressive and nasty comments a few weeks ago ,from people who were quite
new to Wildcamping.co.uk
I am pleased to say that nobody attacked them for it , and better still , those people don't appear to have
posted again .... maybe they just realised that this wasn't the right kind of forum for them .... I hope so !.
To finish on a positive note , the general standard on here is VERY high , so let's all keep it that way.
