Great to be out

Cracking day to be out in the van for the first time since February. Less than 5 miles from home and we’ll not stay tonight so within the rules, but great to be able to park up with such amazing views.

Certainly time for a smile. Looking over at sunny Dumbarton now, just a few litres will do thanks. It will also be great to be able to walk on a level path after staggering about on the potholed paths and roads at home.

I spent the day at West Wittering yesterday, awning and chairs out with breakfast and lunch in the sunshine. Not quite perfect but almost.

That was great, a bit of normality at last. Can’t think of a safer way to be out and about, totally self contained and no contact with anyone. I didn’t realise quite how much I’d missed getting out in the van.

That’s our thinking Marie wait awhile and go and try the van out we went over to check it yesterday (Tuesday) and even the dog was happy to be back in she was crying thinking we were going somewhere

Took van out to Seaford on Tuesday.
Walking on the cliffs we could not help but notice that more than half the people we encountered seemed to be talking French or Spanish. Newhaven only a few miles away.
Are day trips still on or is Seaford spectacularly multicultural?

We were amazed at how quiet boscastle was on Tuesday, our last day of sunshine when we grabbed a day out.
Tintagel much busier 3 miles up the road!!!
Need overnight freedom now to visit grandchildren!!
