At the Miners Standard pub near Matlock, proper campsite with some hook ups on hard standing, large field without hook ups, sinks for washing pots, showers, loos, elsan point and water taps. Price is £6 per person. Friendly well run pub with good reasonable priced food, real ale. More MH's and campers than caravan and tents. Musician on last night who got the crowd dancing. We left at 1:30 a.m and the place was still buzzing.
Good walking round and about. The pretty village of Winster about 10 minutes walk with pub and shops.
Well worth a visit.

That’s a fantastic spot for a small meet. Went to 2 small WC meets there a few years back. Memorable bus trip into Bakewell with the lovely Bushtrekker (RIP) and co. Good times, happy memories

Arkwright Mill in Cromford just down the road also allows mh stop overs in the Carpark for £10 a night. Pubs, café and shops all near by.
