I hope it is spelled correctly. (don't have spell checker☺☺) Where can I get hold of Grafhite? It is to assist the spring lever on my Fiamma security 46.
Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the use of Teflon spray for this rather than graphite.

Available at Halfords ...

Halfords sell graphite powder, or they used to - I'm still using some I bought a few years back.

Grind up a 6b pencil lead. It's almost pure graphite.

6b pencil is my favourite. I've used it any number of times on old fashioned switchboard keys in the good old Post Office days.

Always ready with a cheapskate solution...

Looks like I've been beaten to the cheapest option by a Yorkie. Imagine that!

I'm not a Yorkie - I just live here... however 6b pencils are handy for sticky cylinder locks (twiddle it in the keyhole)and other slidy metal things where grease would attract dust.

Very grateful for so many posts in trying to help me. I have decided to go the 6B pencil route. I have loads in my PC room. Thank you once again Folks.
