We started at the bottom and worked our way up finishing at Tarbert over 7 weeks in 2016. Plenty of stopping spots -just look at the POI map.

Not sure if you can stay at terminal in Tarbert........now gated outside loading times, but am sure you could stay in main Tarbert carpark.......never stayed as don't do early ferries

Thanks for posting Fiona will make a not. Don't normally do early ferries myself but visiting there at the start of our road trip so still alot to see on the main land. Early start will give us a head start. Going there for 30 years bet you know some fantastic places. Looking forward to finding a couple on this trip.
