Google maps offline

Google maps are handy but: online. You got to have an internet connection to get them.
There is a free program to capture Google maps offline and store them as images on your hard drive:
Augmented Reality Software
Didn’t try it out but this seems to be handy unless you have enough room on your harddisk. Maybe you can put them on a USB stick or an SD card

Maybe we will meet I base my old 1978 Hymer LH 78 556 in Dixmuide-a yard there but with no facilities like electric-just water!
am often in Anvers -you always find me there dowen on Scheldt Kai among the local campers who park vans there. r anywhere ...
I have a sec one small motorhome-Renault kangoo one-man van I use for travelling to and from Ireland.
My Hymer is mechanically ok but it needs a ood bit of rettoring or at least, patchiung up-like skylights have disintegrated and I'm too old now (73) not active to do things as i used to. The last time I got on roof I had to be rescurd! Cramnps and suchlike.
So I am lookimg for someone who might fix the few things i can't do myself handyperson-coachbuilder-restorer- the big motorhome firmns are far too expensive for my pension and anyway all they want to do is fit exensive new parts and pieces -they will never improvise.
If you know of anyone who micght help me in belge it would be terriffic- I'll pay, of course but it is sinding someone is nthe problem.
meantime, look out for me -my van is dirty old cream and blue-black below and well marked with Irish signs!

Hi Begian
I print my google maps to a pdf file or to an Office XPS file. Go to the print menu when you have the map you want and choose one of those from the printers menu.

To be able to print to a PDF look for Cute PDF on the internet its free software. To print to an XPS file you will need Microsoft office installed.

I keep all the maps that I use a lot this technique can be used for any page or document that can be printed.
