Hi, Google earth has recently updated its database of street camera coverage. It has most of Western Europe up and running. Handy for looking at motorway services or in town parking. If you do not have Google earth do not despair. Google maps have the same facility and coverage. Zoom into an area [zoom scale on left hand side of map] then look at the top of the scale and there is a little orange man. Drag him to the road and the map turns into the camera view. To return to the map, click the small X just below the word LINK. If when you zoom the orange man turns grey, then the area is not covered by camera.

The majority of the UK is not yet covered on Google Maps, some major cities are covered but for instance Gloucester and Swindon are not yet covered, perhaps they have updated google earth and not maps yet :)

When you drag the orange man those areas covered on the map will turn 'blue'

it is a handy feature, i recently went canoeing on the thames at shepperton and using google earth and streetview, found a cracking little spot on the north side of shepperton lock. (Towpath)

with streetview i could even zoom in on the signs behind the parking bays to check for restrictions :)
 
the google picture of my house on my google earth is about 3 years old ??????????? ANYONE KNOW WHY ?
