i only came on tonight to pick brains but couldn't get past the first thread.
there is so much unrest on here now.
i'm afraid i am leaving the site and would be grateful if i can leave contact details here for any of my real and virtual friends, should they wish to contact me. i have used this site occasionally and nearly always enjoyed participating in the threads (only dislike was losing JIMM)
things just aren't the same any longer.
i wish you all a peaceful future.

This site still has the potential to get back to what it was. Never ever cut yourself off from anything. Take a break and check the site now and again.

I, and many others feel the same as you. We are fighting for the people who left here (the deserving ones, that is). If we all left, there would be no substance on this forum.

You feel fed up, what about me? No more Newcastle Brown Ale, A Whippet did not win best in show at Crufts and the wife is still here. I think you have got nowt to complain about.

As for AJ, I do miss him.

Many of us oldies have the same feeling Maingate.
Not all the changes were a profit for the site.
Sometimes I long for the atmosphere there was overhere not longer than half year ago. I saw too many old friends jump overboard.

Wildcamping will soon be a friendly forum, where all the members feel safe to post without continous attacks from other members.

Banter is no problem, abusing people is!
