what I did do was put anti-smash flim on the inside which was a faff to do and ended with a couple of snail tracks across the window but other than that happy with the results

annoying thing is it looks exactly the same as it did before the little sh!* put the window in, couple of good things to come from it all though was able to grease all the seals etc and waxoyl the door.

fit for the road again :)

Glad you are fit for the road again.
I guess it might be a while before you visit your rellies in Newcastle again, then again I don't think the scroat would take a chance again.
Good luck and have safe trips.

Its no coincidence that they put the Gateshead Angel south of the River Tyne. If it was in Newcastle it would have been nicked or broken by now.

Anyway, if you are going to be your usual obnoxious self then I am not going to tell you about the nice new car park beside the Angel (just off the A1) which does not have height barriers or NOP sign. Or the very, very long laybye on the other side of the dual carriageway.

So there.

and i won't tell any one the angel was made in middlsborough?they could find any workers on tyneside:rolleyes::D:D

thanks guys, next trip will definitely be north where there's some civilisation ;)

You can talk, last time I was in Scotland, I was kicked in the Trossachs
