Good start to our trip!

Pulled into Glencaple quay to have lunch and park up. Fisherman on the edge of river, where we parked, turned and gave us a long hard stare. So as I got out, I asked if it was ok to park there to which he replied "is that your car"......(Silly man I thought!) and then elaborated..."making that noise".. Realised there was a strong hissing sound from front wheel and a huge hole in the tyre which deflated rapidly! Soo...rang RAC ( get it free with the bank, and Dave had trouble undoing wheel nuts) went and had lunch in the boathouse cafe and now sitting next to the van in the sunshine. Worse places for it to happen, and we planned to stop the night anyway!

We visited BUT didn't actually stay as we were booked onto a local site at West Moss side

Cracking reasonably priced site quirky facilities BUT

We always stay there, dinner in the hotel and brekky in the cafe.
