Just got home from the Newbury Show, good show we thought, didn't buy anything but was looking to change our van but nothing took our eye, lot of static vans for sale, they look very nice but wouldn't want to pay the £3000 + it costs to live on a site in one, my Bungalow doesn't cost us that much annually. The Entertainment was very good we thought but it was very cold in Newbury, came home to lovely sunshine here in Southampton.
The camping fields were good I didn't see any vans get stuck, the ground was very firm, a great week end away.

Yes a good show, we went Saturday, there was quite a few prefab bungalows :hammer:

Just got back ourselves about an hour ago, we were parked right by the entertainment so it was a case of going in to watch or sit in the van & hear it anyway  we unfortunately had a caravan parked next to us who seemed to have his genny on & off from the morning until about 6pm then it stayed on until around 10'ish :mad2: it was a 2kw Kippor with an annoying drone. Might have said something but the couple appeared to be deaf & dumb from the way they were signing to each other. Thought Dave Berry was still good to watch even though he's over 70 he could still belt out some good rock tunes.

We were also looking at changing our van but either couldn't find one or couldn't manage to get a deal that we found acceptable (put van in the for sale section if anyone's interested)

Spent a grand total of £1 for a new LPG sticker, won the tickets + Sat. evening entertainment

It was our first time at the show, as we only bought our van about a month ago. We went for the day as we live half an hour away and had family commitments.
I was very impressed with the way everything was set out and the ease of getting in and out.
We went to kit out the van and got a some of things we needed, but was slightly disapointed at the price and variety of the goods, I suppose the internet hasn't got the overheads but I wonder if the traders can carry on in the market place of today.
Perhaps next year we will stay over and get the full experience.
