Hi, my name is Tony. Linda and I moved to South Devon in 2022 after 25 years in West Sussex and, prior to that, London & Surrey.
I am a keen motorcyclist, scuba diver and camper and have had campervans since 2005, currently with a 2019 Ford Transit Custom van which we had professionally converted to a high spec campervan in 2023.
Unfortunately, Linda and I were not able to use it for many trips, as in 2024 we had extensive building work on our new home and, sadly earlier this year Linda suddenly and unexpectedly passed away while we were on holiday.
I am now considering selling this excellent van as I don't think I'll use it solo.

So sorry to hear about Linda. I’m not able to offer any advise other than to say what ever you do take your time mate.

Wherever live takes you from this point your going to need some time for your head to deal with it.

You may or may not want to get back in that van, or you may or may not want to do other stuff, just give yourself time.

So sorry to hear of your loss, your head must be all over the place at the moment you truly have my deepest sympathy.

Very sorry to hear about your wife's death. You must be in a state of loss and limbo. I would just say hang on a bit. You may find getting out and about in your van has great healing especially if you persue your out door hobbies. Have you tried festivals? Good place to meet people.

That's horrible to hear Tony, I can't imagine how you're feeling right now.
If the van isn't taking up space and/or you don't need the money then I think you should hold fire on selling it until your heads in a better place. You don't want to regret selling such a lovely and personal item further down the line. Sorn it, keep it and see how you feel in a years time, as Moonraker says, it could easily become a godsend in the future. Good luck mate
