Going back in time

Sitting outside the Bar last night talking to some Spanish friends about when we started to go away in our vans for the weekends, Now me it was now nearly 42 years ago I started I can remember rushing home from work on a Friday cleaning the works van out putting a mattress in the back, pick the bird up and going down to Southend or Brighton till Sunday night with out any of the luxuries we have in our motorhomes today


Well Would you Could you Do it Again

Well this Monday being a bank holiday 6 of us are going to do it we are going up into the mountains were there is a font and swimming hole for 3 nights we will be sleeping in normal vans cooking on an open fire washing in cold mountain spring water. :have fun: safe travel

Well that looks like a good idea, however, I have been warned by a totally unreliable source, to expect heavey rain so please take waterproofs, wellingtons, umbrellas and waterwings.

If its 42 years since you last did this there is a huge list of medications you will need to take just in case. Whatever please enjoy and remember your body is 42 years older

yeah i know those spanish fonts,very inviting to slip in to,but an absolute bugger to get out of when you're not as sprightly as you used to be.
