Hi All, just bought the above van (2berth) and want option to make it 3-4 berth for grandchildren. Anyone have the extra bar/bed bits they’d like to sell or ideas on how to do it?
Thanks

It should be 3 berth with the bits you have, the table drops to lower position, seat cushion placed on table, seat back on seat base, then passenger seat for feet. Not very comfortable, mattress topper might help.

Our 2019 can make up into another berth, even the salesman couldnt work out how to do it with the cushions , apparently its a 1.5 berth head under the window and feet by the door but you cant get out the door with the bed made up , so just put it all in storage as dont need it at present

We had a 2 berth and sold it to get a 4 berth for the grandchildren. Looking at the costs of doing this (in retrospect) we could have put them up in the Hilton and still been quids in. Better bet for us would have been to take the moho and car with a tent for the kids on our trips. Squeezing grandchildren into what's essential space for 2 adults isn't very satisfactory 😉

I see you are possibly a newbie so may not be aware that, with only two belted seats, you can't drive with the children onboard. It's illegal and dangerous. They will have to travel in a separate vehicle.

Apologies if you already know this.

Ours is a 2017 Globecar Campscout Revolution (difference being it has an electric lift up bed in the rear) which was supposed to be a 3 berth. We have the additional base for the third bed but the guy we bought the van from had a rodent problem so the mattress was chewed to pieces. I bought a piece of foam fitted for the space below the bed and it works a treat for our two grand children. I’ll get another piece of foam to act as a mattress for the third berth when they get taller. All available on eBay they will cut to size for you. My plan would be to get it in two pieces, one for the bit between the seats and the other to fit onto the wooden platform provided for the third berth.
If you do find someone who does the proper mattress I imagine it would be expensive !
Good luck !

It has 2 further belts so 4 can travel legally but only sleeps 2
