Anyone going ? Those chirpy chappies from the land of the rising spud have just confirmed ( U2 - not one of the members from here)
 
Really wanted to go but its already sold out according to the web site
 
Tried several times the day the tickets went on sale but couldn't get through. My son somehow managed to get through though - sod him! Enjoy.
 
Yup resreved tickets when it first opened there may be a second release in December. Taking the van and some chums meeting up with a group of dubbers and one other Hymer.
No glass is allowed so will have to take wine boxes and cans-oh dear.
 
Our sons got tickets again for next year - but he dislikes U2 as much as we do! Still, there's bound to be alternatives with that many stages...:)
 
We're going again, but this time going in style in our Allegro MH. Luxury compared to the tent or VW we normally use.
There will be a re run of tickets usually around Feb time. Look out on seetickets or the official glasto website for re-release dates.

Looking forward to another great show.

Yep, I'm going - booked my campervan ticket too in the East field, which looked a bit closer to the interesting fields. Can't wait as I'm a Glasto 'virgin'. Look out for the metalic blue, high-top, Transit conversion - drop in for a chai!
 
If you are looking for an alternative that week end you could always head for the Dent Folk Fest at Sedbergh. A quater of the price, a tenth of the people, no flooding and better beer!
Drive straight on site and listen to the main stage from your chair in front of your MH! Who needs Glasto:rolleyes:
 
Always fancied the Cropredy " Fairport Convention" festival..... it is supposed to be really friendly and reasonably cheap..... anybody been?
