this is a problem with allowing campsites next to rivers, both here and abroad!!! these natural floods cannot be predicted.

Can't imagine how those poor people are feeling, most have probably worked hard all year for their hols and they get that, its heartbreaking

Yes I agree but they are the prettiest places and I always head for them. It pays to watch the weather and make a run for it before it's to late but in a flas flood it's not so easy.
