Try the Green Frog at Moffat.😜

Love Callander it’s a wee cracker 30 mins from house you can park up behind hotel as well terry I’ve stayed there a couple of times gets busy in summer though.

Callander is decent, Wullie, no probs at parking up at carpark next to river is ok, lot of facilities on your doorstep. Although, if heavy rain is predicted, carpark is known to flood.

hi
ther is some no overnight signs at car park. but if you keep to the left
behind the fish shop the sign is so weathered you cant read it. so if anyone
said anything you have mitigating circumstances.

Xmas market at Caerphilly.

For those further south, there is a Xmas market at Caerphilly this weekend, they have dropped the word “Medieval” from the title this year.

It’s OK to overnight at the Pontygwindy Arms as long as one uses the pub, which is very welcoming.

There is usually an annual meet here at this time of year organised by Haydn (MORGANTHEMOON) but his illness prevents this.

We have not forgotten the other week you might find yourself turned away at the border. :lol-053: :rulez: :cool1:

Alf

The lakes for me for 2/3 nights then Tanhill for one night before heading home.

The one who must be obeyed has decided we’re going to Mortonhall site in Edinburgh so we can go see the lights and Christmas markets AAFCF67E-5A47-4997-9DBC-A9E17AF5293A.jpg

If anyone is out and about this weekend it's forecast for heavy snow in the North West of Scotland and hurricane Caroline so stay safe and safe travels
