Happy New Year everyone!
Now we can start looking forward to our plans for the year - hopefully for us we will give up the day jobs and get down to Southern Spain and Portugal starting in October. All these pictures of blue skies and sunshine in Spain and Portugal recently posted get you thinking.
Here is the channel report - 11 degrees wind SSW 25kts, moderate sea and visibility well - blimin awful - can hardly see across the other side of the harbour let alone France!
Ferries are back to a near normal service but of course without Seafrance - so it is just P and O Dover to Calais and DFDS Dover to Dunkirk. If you are planning a crossing keep an eye on the timetables - the ferries go for refit in January so there can be some gaps in the itinerary. Cross Channel traffic is quite light at the moment - not much freight around - but that will all change on Tuesday no doubt.
