About to head from Hamburg to Oslo and am happy to bypass Copenhagen if it is an advantage so would appreciate any comments on whether the shortcut via the ferry at Puttgarden is worth using or is it as cheap and faster to go via the road through Odengen and Copenhagen to Malmo.

Costs and travelling times??

Glad to see you made it to Europe, how's the trip going so far?

Its probably too late now for any worthwhile advice.

Avoid the Malmo - Goteborg - Oslo road for overnighting, we were warned off last year as its abit of a hot spot for thieving.

No problems so far, although we decided that the MH we bought in Amsterdam really wasn't what we needed to keep doing this 6 months here and 6 months back home for several years -- so bought a much newer, much more modern, bigger but of course more expensive MH in Germany. Like driving a car instead of a tractor.
Must comment that the fabled Dutch 128 and a half point annual safety check is a total myth and is obviously quite open to being carried out by people with very selective eyesight.
