General advice on finding spots

Just a general hint for people when looking for a decent spot, we've found that Natioanl Trust car parks can be ideal. Especially the ones a bit more out the way and that are unmanned ;) You can easily find out where they are by simply picking up the leaflets at any NT (manned) site.

Forestry Commision land is alsoo often a good choice too, we've noticed sometimes they close gates and things like that so you mustn't be worried about getting locked in!!

One real bonus of these sites is that they don't normally have those annoying height restrictions preventing larger vehicles getting in

D

ps. good to see the site back up :D

Both good ideas,we also look out for picnic sites ,a lot are away from the road, quite often toilets with water are availlable. Some have the dreaded height barriers  but we have found plenty without.
