Our daughter is a big fan and wants to visit Barry Island in a couple of months.
So I need the locations of some of the land marks if any one knows?

visit to Barry

Any visitor to Barry should also visit St Fagan's Welsh History museum, just a few miles away

This can be a full day event. So much to see.. including old traditional farmhouse with small animals, a flour mill, and a row of cottages (taken apart stone by stone, relocated and rebuilt.) There is also a small village depicting life in Wales a few century or more ago.
Loads of parking space for cars, coaches, MH etc--- and the best part... IT'S FREE

You can wild just off the beach at Barry Knapp.

Make sure you visit Cardiff and Cardiff Bay

I have to second this! its a good day out! barry is alright for a day visit, you can wild down the road a bit at "Barry Knap" its on the sea front (pebble beach) be there before they lock the gates (it might be 9:00pm now but could still be 5:00pm) you can get back out just not in!

cant think of any other landmarks near there but Cardiff Bay / Penarth marina and pier are also nice to visit. I park in the housing estate at the marina and walk throught the marina to the bay...its a nice stroll, if you have little ones there is a park along the way!
