Gaslow bottles fitted and first fill.... Filled

Day off work today...
SO collected bits I'd ordered from the post office to fit it....
An hour in the cold later and all fitted and off to Morrisons for first fill up (albeit a part fill as one of the bottles was part full.... About 6 litres)
Of 16.96 litres for a whole £9.45....

A lucky bunny too, Morrisons in Denton switched the pump off on me You will get a better price at Cheshire gas on Peel St in Dukinfield although they only take cash.

I did look at CBG as there is a depot just yards away from me in Ashton ....but on the Filgas app they were a few pence dearer than Hyde ...though i wont be rushing back to Hyde as the forecourt is a tad painful in a motorhome ...

Nicely cheaper than calor though ;-)

Probably quite a fine calculation if not going to Hyde for anything else: 17 litres times a few pence saved versus cost of fuel for the round trip.

Picked the bottles up used from gumtree (chap had changed motorhomes and new one only had space for a single 11kg) for £100 including pigtails/balance line

Another £50 ish for fill hose/manual change over/gauge and filler and an hour or so to fit .

Doubt it will be taking long to make the cost back at the amount Calor charge for a 6kg refill
