I always have annual a gas test done ,this time it failed , it was traced to the fridge circuit no Leak could found ,the suspect could be fridge solenoid or gas barbecue outlet both on the same gas pipe ,no gas smell as the leak is tiny any comments .

Can you get to the areas with leak detection spray? Spray this on an you will see small bubbles forming if there is a leak. Usually at a joint.

Leak detection by registered lpg gas fitter using pressure tester, , no bubbles from joints test spraying

When i was a kid, many years ago if ever anyone had a problem with there gas cooker they would call "Cliff the gas" he worked for the gas board. I remember him coming to my parents house because we had a leak on the gas cooker, Cliff got his lighter out and put it next to the joints on the pipe supply the cooker and hey presto! found the leak.

Will the gas fitter not fix the problem for you? I.e replace the one or both of the items they think may be leaking? Presumably that would be their suggestion.

You could try an electronic gas sniffer but I’m not sure a cheap one is any more sensitive than leak detection spray.

Probably the gas control valve letting by very slightly, can you disconnect the outlet pipe from it, re pressurise and check the outlet with leak detector?
