Gas Hob Issues

Hi All and thanks in advance

I've been trying to put a 2burner gas hos into my self build. It's a SIA GHG302BL and is connected to a 7kg Butane supply running through a 21mm regulator.

When I turn the gas bottle on initially there are no leaks but when I turn on the supply on the hob the gas leaks at various places on the hob, i.e - from the burners and the on / off knobs themselves. This will continue to leak until the gas is switched off at the gas bottle.

Am I missing something obvious? Am I using the wrong type of regulator?

Any help appreciated

does it look like this and has it got 30 mbar written on it

I literally went to my Calor Gas dealer and showed them what my set up was and he sold me a regulator similar to the one n brown pictured earlier in the post.

If your hob is leaking gas under regulated pressure, test with soapy water, marker pen where it's zizzing, take it back to who you bought it off. Make sure you are fully conversant with gas safety best practise in your build.
